Tem B. Kite, 57, of Elkhart, died on October 4, 2018.  He was born on November 24, 1960 to Harold and Donna (Chaney) Kite in South Bend, Indiana.  On March 18, 2008, Tem married Valerie Boocher and she survives.  He was a 1978 graduate of Clay High School and worked as an Assistant Purchasing Agent for Forest River.  Tem was the guitarist for the Red Alert Band and enjoyed yard work.  Family was an important part of Tem's life and he loved his family-especially the grandchildren.  Tem is survived by his wife, Valerie; his children, Sarah Kinder of Mishawaka, Zach (Rachel) Kinder of Otsego, MN, Rachel Kinder and Reba Kinder, both of Elkhart; three grandchildren, Ellie, Emmett, and Aidan; his parents, Harold and Donna Kite; his sisters, Michelle (Randy) Hejza, Caroline (Mark) Geyer, and Sally (Brian) Kemp; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.  Friends and family will be received on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 3-8 PM in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
