Obituary

Teresa L. Perry, age 52, of Elkhart passed away on April 19, 2016 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida. She was born October 24, 1963 to Clyde and Betty (Gilkeson) Bowe in Cleveland, Ohio. On July 17, 1982, Teresa married Kenneth R. Perry. He survives. She attended the Sugar Grove Community Church and enjoyed volunteering and mission work. Teresa was a mentor at Cleveland Elementary School and a volunteer at the Zion Missionary Clothes Closet. She was a licensed beautician and donated her time and talents to help others. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family where she was known as "Baseball Grandma". Teresa is survived by her husband, Kenneth; her children, Chere'' (Steve) Perry-Engstrom, Kenneth S. (Kaitlynn) Perry, and Sarah (Michael) Moseng, and Josh Kelly and family all of Elkhart; eight grandchildren; her siblings, Steve Bowe of Niles, MI, Sandy (Orvile) Ellsworth, Cindy (Larry) Gletty, Barbara (Ken) Lacefield, and Patti (Randy) Hershberger all of Elkhart, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 10 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Kenneth L. Lacefield officiating. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens following the service.
