Terrence "Terry" Andrew Friday, 64, of Mishawka, passed away at 5:40 am, Saturday, March 17, 2012 in his home. Terry was born on June 7, 1947 in South Bend, the son of the late William Joseph and Rose Emma (Parent) Friday. On February 19, 1972, he married Michele L. Montgomery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Michele, two sisters, Theresa (Tom) Smith and Rosemary Hammond of Mishawaka and brother, William J. Friday, Jr. of Granger.
Terry was a lifetime area resident, graduating from Mishawaka High School in 1967. He proudly served his country during Vietnam in the U.S. Marine Corps before becoming honorably discharged. During his service he earned a purple heart. He worked for the South Bend Medical Foundation for the past 33 years as an Electronic Technician and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 360.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the donor''s choice.
