Thomas A. Alexander, age 58, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at his residence at 10:38 pm Monday, July 26, 2010. Tom was born July 12, 1952 in Auburn, Indiana to the late Fred and Madonna (Davis) Alexander.
Surviving are his daughters, Karen Gorlewski and her husband Eric, of Elsmere, Kentucky, and Amy Alexander of Celebration, Florida. Tom is also survived by his granddaughter, Danica Gorlewski, and his siblings, Sonya Cameron, Lynn Kaiser and her husband Tony, Ann Vose and her husband Phil, and Alan Alexander and his wife Rita.
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 am Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, where a Masonic service will begin at 10:45. The memorial service for Tom will follow at 11:00 am.
Tom graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1970, and earned his Batchelor''s Degree from Butler University in 1975, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Chi Fraternity. He was employed for many years as a research pharmacist with the Perrigo Company of Allegan, Michigan.
In his spare time, he enjoyed figure skating as well as coaching the Special Olympians in the sport. Tom was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, and the Mishawaka Masonic Lodge #130. He had also attended First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka
