Tom Burkhart 69 passed away in his home on Sept 23,2021.  He was born on July 26,1952 in Mishawaka IN, to the late Lynde and Florence Burkhart.

Tom graduated from Penn High School in 1970. After graduation Tom enlisted and proudly served his country in the The United States Navy on the USS Cook DE( FF-1083). Once returning home from the Navy, Tom worked as a welder and maintenance technician at various companies in the Michiana area.  Tom enjoyed working on different projects around the home and listening to classic rock. He was a Jeep enthusiast and loved taking walks around the river walk in Mishawaka. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was caring and everyone that met him knew.

Tom is survived by his two daughters Angela Burkhart of Mishawaka and her two daughters Gracie and Isabel.  Ashley Rayl (Chris) their children Rory, Regan, Travis and Haelynn of Mishawaka. His best friend, niece and walking buddy Lisa Pohl of Mishawaka.

His brother Lynde "Rock" Burkhart; Sisters Cheryl Lane, and Cynthia Lehner, and many nieces and nephews.
