Timothy W. Franks, 47, of Tampa, Florida and formerly of Elkhart, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Tampa. The Elkhart native was born on July 13, 1963 to Jeanne (Huster) and the late William Elish Franks. On January 22, 1993, he married Michelle (Campbell) Books. Tim attended New Life Pentecostal Church of God in Tampa, and was employed as a tow & service truck driver for many years. Survivors include his wife, Michele Franks of Tampa; daughter, Alyssa Franks of Lutz, FL; son, Thomas Books of Elkhart; parents, Rev. Dr. James and Jeanne Young of Elkhart; brothers, Stephen (Linda) Franks and Gregory Franks, both of Goshen. Visitation will be from 2-5pm Saturday June 11, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00pm. Rev. Dr. James Young, Pastor of Word of Life Fellowship in Elkhart, will officiate. Memorials may be directed to the family for the Children's Education Fund.
