Timothy Carl Young

August 12, 1944 – April 01, 2024

Timothy Young 79, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on Monday, April 01, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife Lori (Claxton) Young; his daughters Sheila (Gary) Houser, Dena Hutchinson and Jodi (Collis) Sivels; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a step brother Kenneth (Lynda) Ward; and a brother-in-law James Claxton.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl R. & Cladeth Gay (O'Leary) Young; a brother Donald Young; a granddaughter Sabrina Oberlie; in-laws James and Esther Claxton.

Timothy was a life long member of the VFW 360, a member of the CVMA (Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association). and a member of the American Legion 308. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, loved hunting and just spending time outdoors. Timothy proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1961-1964. He also enjoyed traveling to Mexico but most of all he enjoyed spending precious time with his dear family and friends.

A memorial service honoring Timothy shall be held on Saturday. June 15, 2024 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the VFW 360, located at 1307 East Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, Indiana 46545.
