Tonia J. Himes, age 63, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 at her residence. Tonia was born November 1, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana to Louis and Marybeth (Smith) Null. She was preceded in death by her father.

Tonia is survived by her mother Marybeth of Edwardsburg, MI and her husband Roy G. Tittle of Elkhart; her step-children Christopher Shon Jones, Chad Tittle and Danielle Girten, all of Elkhart, as well as 5 step-grandchildren; Christopher Shon Jones II, McKenna Lula Jones, Jenai and Satarah Tittle and Victoria Braddock. Also surviving are her siblings, Louis C. Null of Elkhart, and Cindy Mikel of Cassopolis, MI, as well as her half siblings Gary Whitaker, Carolyn Joyner, both of Elkhart, Beverly Hochstetler of Middlebury, Lynn Tweedy, Niles, MI, Marlene Baxter, of Vandalia, MI and Dawn Russo of Dowagiac, MI.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Friday, January 28, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Tonia was employed for several years at Forest River in Elkhart. In her spare time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, and painting. In her memory, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
