Obituary

Tony A. Davis, 59, of Osceola passed away after a brief illness at 5:25 am, Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Tony was born on June 14, 1950 in Ft. Dix, NJ to the late George and Lillie (Bilbrey) Davis. On May 27, 1989, he married Dorothy David.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Osceola; three sons, Edward David of South Bend, Troy Flowers of Mishawaka, and Jim Flowers of Bo nita Springs, FL; two daughters, Kessie Davis of Mishawaka and Sherry David of. Osceola; 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by a brother, Jimmie (Debbie) Davis of Marion, IN and two step sisters, Nancy (Bob) Lute of Granger and Marcie of Indianapolis He is preceded in death by his parents and two step fathers, Lester Bennighoff and Floyd Sauers. Tony worked for Independent Concrete Pipe of Mishawaka since 1972 as a semi truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters and former member of the American Legion Post 308.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, Friday, October 30, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 31, 2009 in the funeral home. Rev. Thomas Padberg will officiate.
