Travis Charles Lechel, 48, of Elkhart, IN passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at his residence.

Travis was born on November 18, 1971, in Elkhart, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Maurice Lechel, his grandparents Charles and Sylvia Ash, and his uncle Charles "Chuckie" David Ash.

Travis married Nikki Lechel on May 13, 2017, in Elkhart, IN, she survives.

Also surviving are his aunt Carol Ash of Goshen; his cousins John, Kimi, Brian, Taylor, Noah, and Preslee of Goshen; his brother CJ of West Virginia; step-children Austin, Andres, Ivonne of Elkhart; Grandchildren Kaylor, Aubrey, Braxton, Jasaeda, Julian, Damien and Josiah of Elkhart; his birth mother Brenda Ash of WV; his son Ryan Lechel of Michigan; and his brother Kirk Lechel of WV.

Travis loved his family very much.  He enjoyed hosting cookouts for family and friends that turned into memorable nights by the fire.

He loved taking rides and trips with his motorcycle family.  He was a cabinet builder at Alliance RV in Elkhart.
