Tressie M. Shahnasarian, age 87, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis, Michigan. She was born March 6, 1926 to the late Fred and Louise (Howard) Mann in Jackson, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Shahnasarian, her son Don Rowe, and her granddaughter Holly Rowe.

Surviving are her children, Connie (Robert) Miller of Middlebury, Indiana, Ron (Janice) Rowe of Muskegon, Michigan, and Lonnie (Roxine) Rowe of Elkhart, Indiana. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Tressie lived in Elkhart, where she owned "Beauty by Tress" until 1969, when she moved to Hobe Sound, Florida. Being a "Snow Bird," Tressie spent her summers at Fish Lake in White Pigeon, Michigan.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements, and she will be laid to rest next to her husband Ralph at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
