Elkhart – Veida M. Irons, 84, passed away at 7:23am on Friday, January 31, 2020 in Elkhart Hospice House.

Veida was born on October 13, 1935 in Elkhart to the late Fredrick and Louise (Chaffee) Eggleston. Veida was also preceded in death by a son, Larry; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.

On February 8, 1958, Veida married Jack Irons.  He survives along with daughters, Judy (Mark) Orange and Viola (Richard) Flicker; son, Harry (Tracy) Irons; daughter-in-law, Barb Irons; sister, Martha (Lyle) Beers; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Veida was a member of Radiant Life Church. She worked for Needlecraft and Printer's Plus before retiring in the late 90's

Visitation will be 3-7pm on Friday, February 7, 2020 in CHAPEL HILL FUNERAL HOME 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN  46561. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Funeral Home with Pastor John Utley officiating.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
