Vera M. Ward, 88, of Plymouth, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She was born on September 29, 1929 to Forrest and Minnie (Bressette) Schultz in Wadsworth, Illinois and was raised by her Uncle and Aunt, Harry and Myrtle Shamo.  On December 4, 1948, Vera married Roy A. Ward.  He preceded her in death on November 21, 2008 after 59 years of marriage.  Vera worked at Ball Band for over 6 years and with the Whitehall Lab for over 15 years in the manufacturing area.  She attended the North Liberty Church of Christ and also the Sauktown Church of Christ.  Vera enjoyed gardening, and feeding her birds and fish.  Vera is survived by her children, Cheri (Willis) Northcutt and Bruce (Beverly) Ward; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy; and her children, Kathy Ward and Steven Ward.  Friends and family will be received on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10-12 AM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561 with a funeral service in Vera's honor beginning at 12 PM.  Reverend Tim Stewart will preside over the service with burial following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
