Verna "Jane" Pollock, 86, of Mishawaka, passed away in her home at 3:49 am, Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Jane was born on September 20, 1922 in Mishawaka to the late Francis and Zelda (Hiner) Caskey. On September 19, 1948, she married James B. Pollock.
She is survived by her loving husband, James of Mishawaka; two sons, Michael (Chris) Pollock of Plymouth and Gregory (Deborah) Pollock of Goshen; four grandchildren, Michele, Daniel, Leslie and Brandon and four great grandchildren, Elani, Cody, Addison, and Alex. She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Linda Lindhorn and Jacqueline and one sister, Louise Murphy.
Jane was 1942 graduate of Mishawaka High School. She was a member of the 1st Brethren Church of Goshen and was a Blue Bird and Girl Scout Leader for many years. She will be remembered for her love of her family and camping and especially her dog Mindy.
Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 am, Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
