Vicki (Nelson) Kristoff

Vicki (Nelson) Kristoff peacefully passed away after a brief health setback on March 30, 2024 at the age of 72.

Vicki was born on January 4, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois. Predeceased by her first husband, Louis A. Nelson III, and daughter, Constance Marie Nelson, as well as her mother Zenna Walsh. Survived by her husband Donald Kristoff; daughter Crystal Bella (Shawn); grandchildren Sophia and Hudson Bella and Olivia (Michael) Clifton; great-grandchildren Torin, Stella, and Tamen Clifton; sisters Patricia Schultz and Carol (Phil) VanBruaene Miller and many nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Mishawaka High School, Class of 1970. Through the years, Vicki lived in Granger, Plymouth, South Bend, and most recently in Mishawaka. Vicki worked for Stone Container for many years and then later for Meridian Title until retirement.

From an early age, Vicki loved good music and fashion. Those who know her well will remember her for being transparent in her speech. If she was thinking it, she was saying it. While she might call out your wrongs in a heartbeat, she was equally generous with her compliments. If you were befriended or beloved by Vicki, no one was more devoted to you. Her loyalty was fierce.

Her family and friends will miss hearing her distinct laugh but find comfort in knowing she's not suffering. There is no service planned at this time.
