Obituary

Virgil Dean Tribble, 77, of Edwardsburg and formerly of Elkhart, died Saturday April 14, 2012 surrounded by loved ones, after courageously fighting an extended illness. The Milford native was born August 12, 1934 to Joseph and Iva (Tom) Tribble. Dean had worked in the RV industry and was retired from Culver-Duck in Middlebury. He was a US Navy veteran and a member of the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethelene Tribble and siblings, Joseph Tribble, Don Tribble, Ruby Campbell, Donnabell Hanson and Richard Tribble. Survivors include his daughter, Teresa (Don) Johnson of Edwardsburg; son, Joseph Tribble of Cassopolis; step-daughter, Pam (John) Gordon of Elkhart; foster-son, David Schrock of Elkhart; step-sons, Mike & Larry Ambrose, both of Elkhart; sister, Patricia (Ernie) Easterday of Mendon MI; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dean''s family extends a very special thanks to the Edwardsburg Ambulance Crew and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center''s Nurses, Therapists and Doctors for their wonderful & special care. Memorial Service 7:00 Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Thursday 5-7pm in the funeral home. Committal Service 10:00 Friday, April 20, 2012 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family''s preferred memorials are the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria VA, 22312 or ADEC, PO Box 398, Bristol IN, 46507.
