Virginia Ferguson, 96, died on July 16, 2018.  She was born on June 11, 1922 to Fred and Mildred (Boguardus) Schmucker.  After graduating High School, Virginia married Leslie Ferguson on May 31, 1941.  He preceded her in death in 2003 after 62 years of marriage.  She worked as a secretary for over 20 years at Uniroyal in Mishawaka.  On August 31, 1956, Virginia and Leslie welcomed a baby boy, Brian A. Ferguson, into their home.  He passed away January 28, 2010.  She attended Pleasant View Church of Christ in Cassopolis, MI and will be remember for her prize winning noodles and pies.  Virginia is survived by her grandchildren, Tiffany Martinez of Milwaukee, WI, Jamie Ferguson of South Bend, Brandon Ferguson of Mishawaka; and her niece, Joyce (Larry) Settle of Cassopolis, MI.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leslie; son, Brian; and a sister, Charlotte.  A graveside service in Virginia's honor will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Pastor Larry Settle officiating.
