Virginia Mae Youngworth, 68, of Elkhart, passed away at 8:10 pm, Monday, November 25, 2013 in Elkhart General Hospital. Virginia was born on April 17, 1945, the daughter of the late Marvin E. and Ola Mae (Rutherford) Lawson. She is survived by two children, Sandra (Darrin) Abel and John (Michelle) Youngworth of Elkhart and three grandchildren, David Youngworth, Lynnzie Floor, and Brandon Abel. She is also survived by her brother, Donald E. Lawson of Grassy Creek, NC and her best friend Karen Guinther of Elkhart. Virginia retired in 2006 after working at Crown International and Actia. She was member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Post 88 of Elkhart. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, gardening and crocheting, and her dog, Misty Mae. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm, Monday, December 2, 2013 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
