Virginia E. Suddarth, 91, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at East Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her flower gardens, sewing and taking care of her family. A longtime area resident, she and her husband had retired to Arkansas several years ago. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Suddarth, Sr. and her son, Ernest E. "Bud" Suddarth, Jr. She is survived by her son, Roger L. (Nancy) Suddarth of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Roger L. "Casey" Suddarth, Jr. of Elkhart, Doug (Kendra) Suddarth of Granger, Scott (Lisa) Suddarth of Osceola, Jill (Mike) Ward of Shirley AR and Richard Suddarth of Mt. Vernon AR; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Private interment in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Arrangements through Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. The family''s preferred memorial is the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka IN 46545.
