Wanda N. Gulatta, 84, of Mishawaka, died Wednesday May 27, 2015. The Nelson KY native was born April 12, 1931 to William C. and Emma Belle (Sumner) Brown, who both died when Wanda was a small child. She was raised by her Aunt & Uncle, Momma Jannie'' and Poppa Ezra'' Estes. On August 12, 1949, she married Victor J. Gulatta in Mishawaka. Wanda was a homemaker, but had formerly worked at Uniroyal. She was a member of South Side General Baptist Church; she loved cooking & baking, making pies & cakes, cookouts, camping & fishing and working in her garden. She cherished the time spent with family & friends and enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida. Wanda was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Mills; son, Terry Gulatta; siblings, Robert, William, Calvin, Sam & Vernon Buster'' Brown, Gilbert, George & Gary Estes, Allie Hillard, Ruby Anderson, Oma Whitfield and Gladys Klatt. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Victor J. Gulatta; daughters, Vickie Roper of Mishawaka and Candace (Gene) Gorbics of Plainwell MI; son-in-law, Robert Mills, Jr. of Bremen; sisters, Vonnie St. Clair in Kentucky and Margaret Whitfield in Ohio; sister-in-law, Karen Estes; grandchildren, Teresa Roper, Karen Beatty and Joey Roper, all of Mishawaka, Sheila (Toby) Mills-Lakins and Victor Mills, both of Bremen and Scott & Jacqueline Gorbics, both in Michigan; 13 great- grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services 2:00 Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. with Rev. Jeff Little officiating. Friends may call from 12-2 on Wednesday in the funeral home.
