Warren K. "Kenny" Brown, 74 of Osceola, died Saturday November 21, 2015 at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart. The South Bend native was born May 31, 1941 to Harold A. & Edna (Hammond) Brown. On June 17, 1965, Kenny married Carol A. (Zimmerle) Brown, who preceded him in death in 2013 after 47 years of marriage. He was a US Army veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict and member of American Legion Post #308; VFW Post #360 and DAV Chapter #19. Kenny was retired; he liked watching old westerns, spending time with family & friends and he thoroughly enjoyed his grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Kenny was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Harold Jr., Earl, Richard and (Infant) Carl Brown. Survivors include his daughter, Michelle (Darin) Hunt of Mishawaka; son, Warren K. "Kenny" Brown Jr. of Osceola; granddaughter, Nicole (Michael Alvarado) Braddock of Osceola & great-grandchildren, Lexi, Mya, Michael & Alexis; his sisters, Carol Horner of Mishawaka, Mildred Hartman in North Carolina and Patricia (Henry) Quist of Elkhart; brothers, James (Donna) Brown of Osceola and Robert Brown in Florida. Funeral Services 10:00 Wednesday November 25, 2015 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, with calling one hour prior to services. Calling also from 4-8pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
