Wesley Michael Hickey, 37, of South Bend, died Tuesday July 28, 2015. The Mishawaka native was born July 23, 1978 to Michael Ray & Brenda Jayne (Gentry) Hickey. Wes was a self-employed who enjoyed his work in landscaping, construction & design. He had an appreciation for animals, art & music and liked to draw. Wes enjoyed the time spent with his family & friends, and caring for his cat Sapphire'', whom he inherited from his grandmother, Hilda Jayne Gentry who preceded him in death along with his son, Izaya Michael Baiz-Hickey. Wes is survived by his daughters, Sabrina Jayne Marie Hickey of Niles, Alexia Lexi'' Baiz and Natalia Lia'' Baiz, both of Osceola; his parents, Michael & Brenda Hickey of Granger; sisters, Maggie Jayne Kollars of Granger, Sally Jayne Kollars of Elkhart and his niece & nephew, Mystie Rios and Christian McCullough, both in Granger. Services are pending at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
