William F. Bennett, 80, died Monday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born in Mishawaka on October 15, 1931 to Francis & Eleanor Bennett, who preceded Bill in death. On November 15, 1952 he married Beth Ann Klein. Bill was formerly employed at Anco in Elkhart and was the owner operator of Texaco on Lincolnway and Arco on Main at Mishawaka Ave. In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by his son, Stephen R. Bennett in 2012, as well as his sister, Ruth and brothers, Don and Jack. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Beth Bennett of Mishawaka; son, Christopher (Donner) Bennett of Newburgh; daughter, Julie (Rod) Gilleand of Mishawaka; brother, James Bennett of Granger; grandchildren, Christopher Harbath and Timothy, Andy & David Gilleand and 7 great-grandchildren.
