Obituary

William W. "Papa" Mammon, 84, of Mishawaka, passed away at 10:35 pm, Saturday, April 18, 2009 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Bill was born on July 23, 1924 in South Bend to the late Arthur and Audrey (Freeby) Mammon. On February 8, 1947, he married Juanita Hittle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita, daughter, Patricia (Tom) Benford of Mishawaka and son, George (Linda) Mammon of Granger, seven grandchildren, Debbie (Dale) Pippenger, Mike Mammon, Sherianne (Mat) Johnson, Tom R. Benford, Kelly (Justin) Baker, Bill (Katie) Mammon, and Chris (Kelly) Mammon. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Michael and Louis, one granddaughter, Lori Fielder, one brother, Arthur Mammon, Jr. and one sister, Patricia Raderstorf.
Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Private burial will be held later in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
