Wilma Joyce Phillippi, 89, of South Bend, IN passed away on November 4, 2021 in South Bend.  She was born to the late Joseph and Delin (Blanton) Throneberry in Tullahoma, TN on August 11, 1932. She married James Phillippi on August 5, 1961, he survives.   She was a lifelong member of the South Side Church of God in South Bend.

She is survived by her husband James; her son, Rodney (Gail) Phillippi; her daughter, Veldoris (Robert) Nielsen; 2 brothers, Jr.  Throneberry and Tom (Syble) Throneberry; her sister, Martha Brown; 7 grandchildren, Marcella (Tim) Gilleand, Diana (Apollo) Melo, Margaux (Robert) Duff, Brittainy Phillippi, Joshua, Samuel and Matthew Phillippi and 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Wilma was preceded in death by her son, Mark Phillippi; Brother Dow Throneberry and sister Wanda Pursley.

Services for Wilma will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561.  Friends may visit from 12 PM until time of service.  Burial will follow funeral service in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Chapel Hill is honored to care for the Phillippi Family.
