Wynona D. Sheets, 79, died Monday November 8, 2010 at Miller's Merry Manor in Wakarusa. Wynona was born in Wakarusa on December 1, 1930 to Claude and Pearl (Kaufman) Grose. She and her husband Joseph were the former owners of Wawasee Bowl in Syracuse and Rainbo Lanes in Elkhart. Wynona loved being outdoors and enjoyed boating, fishing, mushroom hunting and snowmobiling, and was a member of Osceola United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne (Jim) Yoder of Syracuse; sons, David (Wendy) Sheets of Osceola and Jody Sheets of Bristol; grandchildren, Jeff, Jeremy, Kristee, Sarah, Corey, Aaron, Scott, Michael & Sam; six great-grandchildren and her brothers, Lavene Grose in Florida, Jon Grose in Maryland, and Phil Grose & Pres Grose, both in Indiana; sisters, Gwennie Strickland in Indiana and Sherry Bushey in Michigan. Wynona was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Sheets; brother, Ron Grose and sisters, Colleen Squires & Bev Darr. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends & family attending the services are requested to meet at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. at 10:45am on Wednesday morning. The family's preferred memorial is Faith Mission, P.O.
