Osceola— Yvonne V. Kish, 89, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, at the Center for Hospice, Raclin House, with her loving family by her side following a brief decline in health.

Yvonne was born to the late Stephen and Clementine (Pajakowski) Suth. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest J. Kish; her son, Jon Kish her brother, Stephen “Skeeter” Suth and brother and sister-in-law Jim (Margie) Kish.

Yvonne met the love of her life, Ernest Kish, and they were united in marriage on September 29, 1953, in South Bend. A devoted Catholic, she was a faithful member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka. Yvonne found joy in the simple pleasures of life—she loved reading, cooking, and, above all, spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She dedicated many years of service to Saint Joseph Medical Center, where she worked in various roles, including as a phone operator, before retiring in 2009.

Yvonne is lovingly remembered by her children: Ernie (Linda) Kish, Becky Hazelton, Tim (Cindy) Kish, Stephen (Connie) Kish, Pam Kish, Beth Ann (Gary) Moore, and bonus son Mike Gaffney. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, sister Mary Snyder, sister-in-law Carol Suth, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held in July.
